Amy Winehouse Documentary

Chills run up and down my spine when I listen to Amy Winehouse sing.

I spent a large part of my morning on the headset with Amy Winehouse after watching a German documentary about her last night. Listen to Tears Dry on Their Own, Stronger Than Me, and Cherry; then consider what a mammoth loss her death has been.

Taste is taste, but to me, one of the biggest losses in the last fifty years.

Jet Lag Music

I couldn't sleep at all last night, as I was tossin' and turnin', turnin' and tossin', tossin' and turnin' all night. So I pulled out my (t)rusty iPod and searched for the somnolent solution.

I tried the following:

Gil Scott Heron: Better Days
Marvin Gaye: When Did You Stop Loving Me. When Did I Stop Loving You
Curtis Mayfield: The Makings Of You
Stevie Wonder: I Never Dreamed You'd Leave in Summer
Cooly's Hot Box: Maybe I
Stevie Wonder: Superwoman
Raphael Saadiq: Never Give You Up
Regina Carter: Theme from Cinema Paradiso
Musiq: The Girl Next Door
Viktor Vaughn: Fancy Clown
Bill Withers: Can We Pretend
John Klemmer: Forest Child
Heatwave: All You Do is Dial
